Biography
椎名 雄一郎Yuichiro SHIINA
東京藝術大学音楽学部器楽科オルガン専攻卒業。同大学院音楽研究科修士課程修了。在学中、スペイン政府奨学金を得て、サラマンカ・オルガンアカデミーに参加する。
1994年第1回ザ・シンフォニーホール・オルガンオーディション入賞、1997年第1回ダラス国際オルガンコンクール第2位、2000年第12回ライプツィヒ・バッハ国際コンクール第3位、2002年NDR（北ドイツ放送局）音楽賞国際オルガンコンクール優勝。
1999年10月よりオーストリア政府奨学金、ロームミュージックファンデーション奨学金を得て、ウィーン国立音楽大学に留学し、オルガンをM.ラドゥレスク氏、チェンバロを故G.マレー氏に師事。満場一致の最優秀の成績で卒業。安田生命クオリティオブライフ文化財団より助成を受けスイス、バーゼル・スコラカントルム音楽院に留学し、オルガンとチェンバロをJ.-C.ツェーンダー氏、通奏低音をJ.-A.ベッティヒャー氏、アンサンブルをA.ルーリー氏に師事する。
2001年、オーストリア・ジュネスオーケストラのベルリン、シャウシュピールハウス公演にてチェンバリストとして参加し、絶賛された。日本のほか、スイス・オルガン・フェスティバルをはじめ、ドイツ、オーストリアを中心にヨーロッパ各地で演奏活動を行っている。
2002年から2007年3月まで、豊田市コンサートホール専属オルガニストとして、演奏会、講座の企画を行う。2005年よりJ.S.バッハオルガン全曲演奏会シリーズをおこない、2015年に完結した。
コジマ録音より、「バッハのオルガン解体新書」「平和の祈り」「メンデルスゾーン：オルガン作品集」など数多くのCDをリリースし、高い評価を得ている。2015年、春秋社より『パイプオルガン入門 見て聴いて触って楽しむガイド』を出版。
現在、東北学院大学文学部教授。東京藝術大学非常勤講師、日本基督教団讃美歌委員会委員。日本基督教団吉祥寺教会オルガニスト。
He graduated from Music Department of Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music with a degree in organ Performance. He followed the master course of Graduate School of same university and received Master’s Degree of Music in 2002. He studied organ under Prof.T.Hirono.
During his university days he participated into Salamanca Organ Academy with award of scholarship from Government of Spain.
In 1997, he won the second Prize in the First Dallas international Organ Competition and was granted Dallas Honorary Citizen. In2000, he won the Third Prize in 12. International Bach-Wettbewerb in Leipzig. Then he won the First Prize in NDR Musikpreis 2002-Internationaler Orgel-Wettbewerb.
In October 1999 to May 2001 he had studied at University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, being awarded scholarships both from Austrian Government and Rohm Music Foundation. In Vienna he studied organ under Prof. M.Radulescu and Harpsichord under Prof. G.Murray.
He graduated from Organ Department of university at the most excellent achievement approved with one consent. During October 2001 and September 2003 he studied organ and harpsichord under Dr. J.-C. Zehnder, throughbass under J.-A.Bötticher and ensemble under J.Sonnleitner and A. Rooley in Schola Cantrum Basiliensis in Switzerland. In 2001 he joined a concert by Jeunesseorchester in Schauspielhaus in Berlin as a cembalist and won the highest praise.
From 2002 until March 2007, he was planning various concerts as an Organist attached to John Brombaugh’s Organ, Toyota City Concert Hall, Japan. He is now giving frequent concerts of organ and harpsichord in Japan and oversea countries, Germany, Switzerland, and USA etc. In 2015, his first book, “Introduction to Organ” was published by Shunjusha Publishing Company. He is a professor at Tohoku Gakuin University, a lecturer at Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music. He is also an Organist of Kichijoji Church of United Church of Christ in Japan
